Every charity needs money 💸

But most small ones struggle to raise enough.

That’s because fundraising isn’t an isolated activity. It works best when you have a clear need, well designed activities, and a way of demonstrating the difference you make.

That's why we go where most fundraisers can’t: we make you more fundable by laying the foundations you need to raise long-term, sustainable support.

👋 Hi, I'm Luke

Small charity leadership? Been there. Still there. Got LOTS of t-shirts!

I’ve worked in charities my whole career, and I’m still involved now as a donor, a trustee, a volunteer and a service user.

I’ve coached senior leaders, devised fundraising strategies, written impact reports, evaluated giving programmes...oh yeah, and raised a few quid along the way…

🧠 Two heads: better than one!

I’m not so big-headed to think I can solve every charity’s problems on my own.

For Goodness Sake is a collaborative company, meaning that for different projects I am able to draw on expertise from across my wide network.

Not only do all of our consultants have experience working in or volunteering for small community organisations, but many have also been involved with large national charities or consultancies including the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, The RSA, New Philanthropy Capital, and National Council of Voluntary Organisations.

Here's what we do 👇

👨🏻‍🔬 Systems check

To raise well, you need a clear description of what you’re raising for.

We can help you engage your users, understand needs, and show the world why your work needs support.

Let’s get you firing on all cylinders!

🚀 Fuel the fire

Keeping a small charity afloat needs two things: money and people.

Raising funds and finding volunteers are two sides of the same coin, and we can help with both.

Turbo-charge your fundraising and marketing!

☄️ Prepare for impact

Understanding the difference your charity makes is crucial.

We can help you design simple evaluation methods that inform your programmes and fuels your fundraising.

Celebrate the impact of all your hard work!

Some of our happy customers

Luke has been supporting us to develop our strategic vision, planning and case for support. Through his guidance we have developed a coherent fundraising approach that should increase our activity and output both short term and over the next 10 years.

Right now I've filled this space with placeholder text so my page layout doesn't go crazy.

But pretty soon I hope there'll be another glowing review here. Who knows? Maybe it'll be you that writes it 👀
